Cairn Tasks ("Cairn," "the app," "we") is a personal task management app. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is handled.
All tasks, lists, settings, and preferences you create in Cairn are stored locally on your device only. Your data never leaves your phone. There are no user accounts, no cloud sync, and no remote servers.
Cairn does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:
Cairn offers an optional feature to import events from your device's calendar as tasks. If you enable this feature, the app reads calendar event data (titles, dates, times, locations, and notes) from calendars you explicitly select. This data is read locally on your device and stored as tasks within the app. Calendar data is never transmitted off your device.
You can disable calendar access at any time in the app's settings or in your device's system settings.
Cairn may request permission to send local push notifications for task reminders. These notifications are generated entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to any server.
Cairn does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or data processing services.
Cairn does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
