Frequently Asked Questions

Is an internet connection required?

No. RefrigeraSat works entirely offline. All refrigerant saturation data is embedded directly in the app — no network connection needed.

Which refrigerants are supported?

RefrigeraSat includes data for 21 common refrigerants: R-12, R-22, R-32, R-123, R-134a, R-290, R-404A, R-407A, R-407C, R-410A, R-448A, R-449A, R-452A, R-454B, R-502, R-507A, R-600a, R-717, R-744, R-1234yf, and R-1234ze.

What units does the app use?

Pressure is in PSIG (pounds per square inch gauge) and temperature is in degrees Fahrenheit (°F).

How accurate are the results?

The app uses standard industry saturation pressure-temperature data with linear interpolation between data points. Results are approximate and intended as a field reference tool.

What does "Pressure out of range" mean?

Each refrigerant has a defined pressure range in the lookup table. If you enter a pressure outside that range, the app will show the valid range for that refrigerant.

Can I request a new refrigerant?

Yes! Send us an email with the refrigerant you'd like added and we'll work on including it in a future update.
