Strata ("Strata," "the app," "we") is a personal countdown app. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is handled.
All countdowns, settings, and preferences you create in Strata are stored locally on your device only. Your data never leaves your phone. There are no user accounts, no cloud sync, and no remote servers.
Strata does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:
Strata offers an optional feature to set a photo as a countdown's background. If you choose a photo, the app reads the single image you select from your photo library and stores it locally as that countdown's background. Photos are never transmitted off your device, and the app does not browse, scan, or upload your photo library.
You can change or remove a photo background at any time, and you can manage photo access in your device's system settings.
Strata's home screen widget displays your countdowns. To do this, the app shares your countdown data with the widget through a private storage container on your device (an App Group). This data stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
Strata does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or data processing services.
Strata does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
